Beginners Yoga Workshop, March 23rd, Angel, London

Many people are drawn to yoga but are reluctant to feel like the new person in class. This workshop will introduce the fundamental postures present in most yoga classes and familiarise students with the theory behind the more distinct elements of the practice such as why we usually end lying on our backs and what yoga was originally developed for. We'll briefly discuss the main yoga styles on offer today and consider some of the key teachings that can be applied both on and off the mat. After this crash course in one of the worlds oldest disciplines, you'll feel confident to progress.
